Spa Filters

Spa filters work much like pool filters. Without them, the hot tub would become dirty and unsanitary. The filter picks up debris and microorganisms.

Spa filters require maintenance and cleaning. A dirty filter puts a strain on the pump and cannot trap contaminants. Filters should be cleaned with every water change. They should be replaced annually.

It is easy to clean spa filters. Owners should rinse their filter every two weeks with a garden hose. Every 3 to 4 months clean the filter with a filter compound.
